Description:

Simulates a child biting the accessible area of toys. The part of the toy being tested is placed in a bite test clamp & a specified force is applied for a specified period. The toy is then tested to ascertain whether or not any hazards result from the bite test such as sharp points/ sharp edges / small parts.

1.Toys or items that used by children under 8 years old.

1. How to test ?

1.1 Samples must be placed in an environment with a room temperature of 23 ± 2 degrees and a humidity of 20% to 70% for 4 hours before performing the bite force test.

1.2 Place the test part into the bite force tester in position to a depth of at least 0.25 in 5 seconds and reach the required number of pounds for 10 seconds.

1.3 Requirements: American Standard: 0 to 18 months 25±0.5LBS 18 to 36 months 50±0.5LBS 36 to 96 months 100±0.5LBS

2.how do you use the tester?

Before the bite force test, the samples must be placed in an envirnment with room temperature of 23℃ and humidity of 20%-70% for 4 hours; Place the test part into the bite force tester according to the appropriate position, with a depth of at least 0.25in, one to the required pound in 5 seconeds and hold for seconds.
